RALLY ON THE ROCK EVENTS
Put-in-Bay
is sponsoring the first Rally on the Rock June 9-13 with
activities and events down on the island's beautiful downtown
harbor. We have some fun events, a free two-day Music Fest with
some great entertainment, a Vendors Rally Alley and Bike Parade.
Put in Bay also offers a
week's worth of fun activities, dozens of bars and restaurants,
a mix of live entertainment, loads of attractions and a laid
back island lifestyle experience.
Come find out why they call us "party island!"
Bring your bike to Put-in-Bay and join the Bike Parade. The
Miller Ferry is offering
discounts to all bikers during the five-day Rally on the Rock!
Put in Bay's Rally on the Rock overlaps Sandusky's Ohio Bike
Week. Put-in-Bay has been a satellite location for those
attending Ohio Bike Week and biker visitation has increased over
the past five years.
Rally on the Rock is a natural extension of
Put-in-Bay
providing more activities for bikers and all visitors.
Partial Schedule
Wednesday June
9
Rally on the Rock Poker Run, register by 11 a.m. and turn in
your hand by 2 p.m. Winners announced at 4 p.m. Sign up at
the Rally Information Tent in DeRivera Park. Top three hands awarded
$250, $150 and $100. The Poker Run begins at the Blue Marlin
Bar located at the Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center,
then heads to the Put-in-Bay Brewery, Rita's Cantina at the
Boardwalk, Dandee's Snack Shack at the Perry Cave Family Fun
Center and then back downtown to the Round House Bar. We'll
have a map for you when you register at the Official Rally
Information Tent at the Music Fest. Free to enter.
Country singer Tony Rio and "Relentless" headlines
Day 1 of the two-day Rally Music Fest. Mike "Mad Dog" Adams will
open the Music Fest for Rio and Relentless at 1 p.m. at the Rally Tent
followed by the Sellouts at 2 p.m. and JD Owen at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
Rally King & Rally Queen Contest,
Register by 3 p.m. at the Rally Tent in DeRivera Park.
Winners will be announced at 4 p.m.
King & Queen will each
receive $250 in cash plus either a stay at the Put-in-Bay
Resort or the Bay Lodging Resort for 2010 Oktoberfest
Weekend, October 8-9, in a standard room for up to 4 people.
Free to enter.
Tattoo Contest, Register
between 1 and 2 p.m. at the Rally Tent. Judges will award
prizes for Best Original Tattoo and Best Design (both male
and female) and People's Choice Best Overall Tattoo.
Artists and local islanders will judge. Winners announced at
4 p.m. at the Rally Tent. $100 in cash awarded to each
winner. Free to enter.
Put-in-Bay attractions, shops, bars and restaurants are open
at night during the 5-Day Rally so take the time to enjoy

Thursday, June 10
Put-in-Bay's "Island Rock Stars" perform at the Rally Tent
in DeRivera Park from 1 to 6 p.m. Island "bad boy" Mike "Mad
Dog" Adams will emcee. Former Easy Street front man Westside
Steve Simmons opens at 1 p.m. followed by Ray Fogg at 2
p.m., Calabash Band's Bob Gatewood at 3 p.m. and Mad Dog at
4 p.m. Mustang Sally will rock the Rally Tent from 5:30 to
6:30 to conclude the Rally Music Fest.
Friday, June 11
FOP Special Olympics Ohio Poker Run from 10
a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign up
at the FOP Special Olympics Ohio booth in the Rally Alley in
DeRivera Park downtown. The
donation is $15 per bike and driver. A passenger is $5 more.
All proceeds benefit the
Special Olympics. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion
of the run at the Sand Bar at Adventure Bay.
Saturday, June 12
Rally on the Rock Bike Review (bikers don't parade).
Bikes will gather near Miller Ferry and follow route to
downtown and past review stand. Judges will choose Best
Custom Bike among several other categories. Prizes will be
awarded following the review.
Burn Out Contest
sponsored by Jazz Motorsports will be held at Adventure Bay
following the Bike Review. Jazz Motorsports will give out
prizes in several categories, including Best Burn Out,
People's Choice and Best Custom. Prizes include three sets
of tires, Willie & Max Saddle bags, tail bag and two covers.

Sunday, June 13
Enjoy Put-in-Bay!
Limited events have been scheduled on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday so everyone can enjoy Put-in-Bay's many fun
attractions, shopping, and live entertainment during the day and evening.
Looking for some
Recreational Activities Put-in-Bay has kayaking, jet
skiing, boating, parasailing, fishing, swimming and golf
among others.
Bringing the kids? Don't miss Perry's Cave Family Fun
Center and Adventure Bay. Perry's Cave has a narrated cave
tour, Butterfly House, Antique Car Museum, rock climbing
wall, 18-hole championship miniature golf course, a maze and
picnic area. Adventure Bay has electric golf carts, an
arcade, beach volleyball, water balloon wars and a

local and American history? Perry's Victory &
International Peace Memorial has a free movie and historical
displays at its visitor center. The Lake Erie Islands
Historical Society has a 6,000-square foot museum,
Stonehenge and the Doller House both give historic home
tours and the Lake Erie Islands Nature Center showcases the
islands' wildlife and protected areas.
