Rally Info
More than 850 motorcycles were transported to the island during Put-in-Bay's first
Rally on the Rock in 2010.
This year the event will run from Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5.
We're expecting more bikes, more entertainment, more contests and more gun in 2011.
Put-in-Bay is an exciting and fun vacation destination and the many activities and
entertainment available on the island just add to the great times at Rally on the Rock.
We'll be updating or Events, Activities and Entertainment listings over the next weeks
as we prepare for Rally on the Rock 2011.
Rally Events
We're currently working on our schedule of events at our various venues in 2011..
*Rally on the Rock is a rain or shine event.*
Keep Rally on the Rock FREE!
It looks like every event during Rally on the Rock will be free to everyone. To keep it that way for
years to come the best things to do are:
1. Purchase OFFICIAL Rally on the Rock Merchandise!
2. Shop at OFFICIAL Rally on the Rock Vendor Tents and Dealers!
3. Patronize OFFICIAL Rally on the Rock Sponsors!
By doing these things we'll be able to keep the Rally free for years to come.
Law Enforcement Tips
Put-in-Bay is a small island community with year round residents and economy. We must respect
these people and businesses as much as possible. Even though it's an island, Ohio Laws still apply.
Put-in-Bay does have a police force and they are here for the protection and safety of everyone,
bikers and islander alike. Here are some helpful tips to make Rally on the Rock safe and enjoyable:
*Protective Eyewear is required at all times - day or night, rain or shine.
*No wheelies, burnouts, speeding or other reckless operation.
*Make sure your bike is legal for the road.
*You must have a valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement.
*Proper insurance coverage is required. If you get stopped by a law enforcement official you will need
to show a valid license with endorsement AND proof of insurance.
*Please refrain from excessive noise! We don't want a noise ordinance at Rally on the Rock so keep
it respectful especially at night.
*Don't encourage "inappropriate behavior".
*Alcohol and bikes don't mix.
If you follow these tips you and everyone involved with Rally on the Rock will have great experience.
Respect Put-in-Bay and the Residents
As mentioned earlier, there are year round residents and businesses on Put-in-Bay. Let's do our best
to respect them. This includes staying on main paved roads, especially at night. Make sure to pick up
all trash and dispose of it properly. Not only will this keep costs down, it will also keep the island
beautiful. If we can follow these simple tips we'll be able to continue this event in the future.
